So this is like my third animatic... it wouldnt upload onto here! it really struggled, so had to link it to youtube!

Colour Characters with Wooden Effect

Wanted to put wooden effect, so it was clear I am aiming to make them out of wood =)

A colour set...

I want to establish, this is not comletely finished, though it is the general aesthetic im going for =) Maybe having the growing plants, as the only not wooden thing, and the bugs, because its nature, and not man made! I like the idea personally!

So I only had time to do one each of the old man and boy in colour! But i shall improve on them, and do more over the holidays!

Heres the Boy and the Old Man, to give an idea of the propotions between the two!

So... I forgot how long it takes to do all of the drawing via photoshop... so have spent most the day on this, rather then sorting out my tests and animatic sound! Ahhh! So they will have a priority come tomorrow! But im really glad how they turned out, and for the presnetation, i think i shall only be doing one of the images in the rows in colour to save time! But come the January deadline! theyll all be in colour, and ill get them up by them fosho =)

These are of the little boy in my final film! Before colour obviously! Just Old man, and two sets of bugs to go! Woop Woop! This is quite enjoyable to do thankfully!

Hmmm... Time to sort out my blog me thinks!

Well today I handed in my 1st draft for the old dissetation! Certianly a pleasure to write as im sure most know. So im hear planning on doing some lovely detailed coloured stills of my proposed sets and characters. But first i thought id update this so that people could know all the different changes ive been making over the past six weeks to my final film and what not! So here goes, and once i do my colour concept art i shall be putting it on here too =)

Group Project - Unwanted Visitors!

This was our group project, from the recoding conventions brief. My primary role in this project, was puppet making and set building, with some animation aswell!

The puppets that im responsible for, were the two women, the old man, and the dude in the purple suit. I did some of the animating, but the majority went to Alex, and i feel he did a really good job!

The sets that i were responsible for, was the scene at the begining, where there inside a living room, and also the storage room, where there was alot of fast and destrucvitive action.

Overall i was really pleased with my contribuitions and i felt they really worked! =D

Overall i felt the film worked, and was quite entertaining too!

This is my TV Ident! finally done!
Im really pleased with it! i did it all hand drawn, then colouring and neatening done through Photoshop... A process that took alot longer then I first expected...
But im happy with it =)

My First Ever Post!

Hey everyone!
Thought id finally get round to making a post!
Well at this moment in time, im coming near to the end of my proffessional practice!
Ident is done! woohoo! and just touching up the Self Reflexive folder now!
Showreel, and the ident are to follow when i have some time!
and i shall try and find some of my more better pieces of work to put up!
